Project

Introduction

This 3-day course teaches project managers how to harness the power of Microsoft Project. Learn to create dynamic project schedules to assist in the planning, implementation, control, and closing of business projects. This course requires you to be familiar with using personal computers. Adobe Classes

Photoshop

Advanced

In this course, students will learn how to work with multiple layers, work with gradients and color adjustments and working with masks. Before taking this course, students should have completed the introduction course in Photoshop. [Read more for the lesson plan]

Production

In this course, students will learn camera raw adjustments and batch processing, photographic techniques, color management, and CMYK separations. Before taking this course, students should have completed the introduction course in Photoshop. [Read more for the lesson plan]

Illustrator

Introduction

 This Illustrator introduction class covers the basics of Illustrator CS6, which is used primarily to work with vector-based graphics. Before taking this course, students should know how to create folders, launch programs, and work with the Windows OS. [Read more for the lesson plan]

Advanced

 In this second level class, students will learn more advanced techniques. Examples are working with workspaces, artboards, using symbols, creating web graphics, using color and paint tools. Before taking this course, students should have taken Illustrator CS6 Introduction. [Read more for the lesson plan]

InDesign

Introduction

 This class teaches students basic concepts, terms, and the primary features of Adobe InDesign CS6. Before taking this class, students should have basic Windows application skills, such as copying and pasting objects, formatting text, and saving files. [Read more for the lesson plan]

Intermediate

Building on InDesign CS6: Introduction, students will start by learning text editing by importing and editing text, using special characters, column, frames and page breaks. Before taking this course, students should have taken InDesign CS6 introduction. [Read more for the lesson plan]

Advanced

After InDesign CS6 Introduction and Intermediate, students will start by learning how to create tint and gradient swatches, and use object libraries and snippets to work more efficiently. [Read more for the lesson plan]

DreamWeaver

Introduction

This two day course introduces students to Adobe DreamWeaver, a program for website development. In this course, students learn how to create and organize basic web pages, design page layouts, insert text and images, create hyperlinks, style page elements, and automate site development, code basics and publishing. Recommended prerequisites: a basic understanding of HTML, Windows XP/Vista/7 or higher. [Read more for the lesson plan]
